The 2016 Republican National Convention

is concluding as I write this.  Great enthusiasm and patriotism has been openly witnessed inside the Convention Center while others outside openly protest.  The speeches and the individuals making the speeches are well-known voices.  Beginning July 25th, 2016, the Democratic National Convention will begin.  It remains to be seen what will take place during this convention.  The ongoing Presidential Election process of 2016 has been very different from any other in previous Presidential Elections.  Rather than two opposing political parties, Republican and Democrat, this time around it is more like two opposing camps, or forces.  The Conventions seem more like the 'rallying' for war!

America has been under siege for many years.

Now, it is turning into open warfare.  It isn't a conventional war, but rather a spiritual one, light versus darkness, satan rebelling against God once again.  This is the war of all wars, the war for the 'soul' of America, for the 'soul' of man.  It is the final war.  It will decide everything.  There is no middle ground, no quarter will be asked, and no quarter will be given.

What about the speeches, the cries to:

"Make America Great Again!", "Make America Safe Again!"

It all sounds great!  People are cheering and shouting!  It's like an attempt to return to a former glory that has been lost.  But we have changed.  We are not that America that we once were, and there is no going back.  We have passed the 'point of no return'.  I believe that this is the 'last hurrah!'  That America is going down to rise no more.  There will be more rallies, more speeches, and many valiant will be sacrificed, but to no avail.  Our course is done, and we are not saved.

I do believe ...

in the hope of a new beginning, a glorious one.  But it will not be realized until everything concerning this current generation and the world we have known... has come to its end, and has fully given account.    I won't be posting very much here on this Blog in coming days, for the time is at hand!  We all are going to be very busy.  Jesus remains the 'Refuge' for those who seek Him, those who genuinely desire to be saved.  I love America as much as anyone.  My tears are real.  Yet, I am not looking back, but rather, am looking forward.  It's time for America to become what she was always destined to be, and that is "the kingdom of God, on earth as it is in heaven"
